People who are dreaded losing out on free 4G internet on Reliance jio after 31st december, have a reason to rejoice. According to some reports, company might extend its Jio Welcome Offer till March 2017.
However, nothing can be said for now as official announcements are yet to be made by the company. For now, such claims have only been made by analysts at Motiwal Oswal, who believes that Jio will go for the juggernaut to reach its target of 100 million-user base.
According to the analysts, reason for such claims is directly linked with the ongoing point of inter connectivity (POI) issue. This has forced many users to rely on their non-Jio number to make calls.
Even Jio expressed its concerns relating to the connectivity issue, said they might have to extend the free service, if situation doesn’t improve.
Division head of the company clarified that Reliance Jio wont need TRAI’s permission, if they want to extend free service.
Their 4G speed has been gradually slowing down, in fact as per a recent TRAI, Jio is the slowest network in the country.
